MBASA Clubs

ESADE's MBA community is world-renowned for its quality and diversity, and creates a stimulating and fun atmosphere. MBA students are engaged in a variety of Club activities, Teams and Events throughout the year. By getting involved with MBASA's Business Clubs, you'll be pursuing your interests and dream careers, while building valuable networks and long-lasting friendships during your tenure at ESADE.

 ESADE's MBASA Business Clubs are 100% student-run.

There are several ways you can get involved with the ESADE Business Clubs:

•    Participate in Club events. These will be advertised by posters and e-mails in advance and everyone is welcome. Check out the Master Clubs and Social Calendar for more information.

•    Sign up to Club e-mail distribution lists and read the Weekly and Monthly MBASA newsletters. This will make sure you are informed about all relevant events related to the Business Clubs.

•    Regularly attend Club meetings & social events to learn more about what the Business Clubs do.

•    Run for Club Leadership and help organize events and activities. Clubs are always keen to accept new members.

Our clubs:

Better Halves Club

The ESADE Better Halves Club is for ESADE MBA students and their respective wives, husbands, girlfriends, boyfriends, fiancees and partners.  The goal of the Club is to provide a social and support network for ESADE spouses both amongst themselves and within the larger school community.

Clean Energy & Environment Club

The ESADE MBASA Cleantech & Environment Club's mission is to provide its members with a dynamic platform to share knowledge, debate topics, enhance networking, and develop professional and business opportunities in the cleantech sector.

Consulting Club

The ESADE Consulting Club (ECC) established in 2008 is the largest club within ESADE’s student association (MBASA). Presently, ECC has 120 regular members from consulting and industrial backgrounds belonging to various parts of the world in sync with ESADE’s diverse culture. The club has three primary purposes: to educate its members about consulting, to train its members utilizing various techniques and to raise the profile of the ESADE MBA program as a contributor of candidates to top-tier consulting firms.

Emerging Markets Club

The ESADE Emerging Markets Club aims to prepare, inform and equip students interested in Emerging Markets by raising awareness about the issues and challenges related to these emerging economies. The club also seeks to facilitate understanding and opportunities for students in who wish to explore and pursue a career in Emerging Markets.

Entrepreneurship Club

The ESADE MBA Entrepreneurship Club is a student run body that aims to stimulate entrepreneurial spirit and initiatives among MBA students. The club organizes and promotes events to foster business networks, build entrepreneurial knowledge and create a platform for the sharing and development of business ideas. We believe that an entrepreneurial mindset is valuable to every path in life - Join us and develop yours!

Finance Club

ESADE MBA Finance Club  was founded 3 years ago to help facilitate the entrance of ESADE MBA students into the financial services industry. We provide educational seminars and information, networking events with industry professionals and assist with job placement. We aim to develop market awareness, promote club activities, and establish professionals in Finance disciplines in areas of investment banking, capital markets, corporate finance, private equity, wealth, and asset management, and international finance.

French Club

You want to improve your French ? "Oui, c'est possible". In order to improve the usage of French in our MBA community, we have the following activities running throughout the year: French dinners, cultural activities (rugby games, movies, The French Tour), CV reviews ...

Healthcare Club

The vision of the club is to promote and foster the image of ESADE as a school with a strong focus on healthcare. Our mission is to provide a collaborative environment for MBA participants, industry leaders and key decision makers within the healthcare industry to interact with one another and to provide opportunities to share their experiences. We focus on 7 key sectors: Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Medical Devices, Life Sciences, Healthcare consulting, Health Insurance/Managed Care and Hospital Administration/Management.

Investment Fund

The Student Investment Fund provides students at the ESADE Business School with "hands on" investment experience. Students participating in the Fund manage a real portfolio of exchange-listed stocks, bonds, and money market investments. Students perform both individual and group research projects, learn about various analytical techniques, and make presentations before leading finance practitioners.

Marketing Club

The Marketing Club serves to support and provide resource for students interested in all aspects of marketing, including but not limited to: Advertising, PR, Business Development, and Sales. Our ultimate goal is to build stronger networks for our members and maximize their opportunity to gain knowledge and skills during their time at ESADE. We also equip our member with the right tools to succeed professionally in whichever Marketing field they may choose to pursue. We aim to provide knowledge and opportunities to the club members through relevant events that spark creativity and interaction, and foster professionalism in marketing.

Media Club

MEDIA CLUB is a dynamic and collaborative club dedicated to exploring the issues and challenges surrounding the film, television, music, gaming, advertising, and digital media industries.  With world-class speakers from the likes of Yahoo! and Sony Pictures, members have unique opportunities to gain deep insights within particular sectors in addition to getting first-hand information on trends coming on the horizon.  In addition to organized trips to London for both internship meetings and industry conferences, MEDIA CLUB provides the ideal forum to exchange ideas, research the latest and greatest, and let passions for the sector flow.

Net Impact Club

ESADE Net Impact educates students about ways they can effect positive environmental, social and economic change through their personal and professional lives. The club also connects members with like-minded professionals, responsible careers and immediate opportunities to make a positive impact.

Operations Club

The Operations Club promotes sharing knowledge among MBA students and Alumni through panel discussion, company visits and informative sessions.

Salsa Club

Salsa is a fun and social activity! The ESADE Salsa Club promotes cultural enrichment and socializing through salsa by organizing classes for all levels, dinners and dancing at clubs, and a choreographed show to represent ESADE at two Business School competitive events: Spring Games and MBAT. Most of all, the club adds excitement and flavor to the ESADE experience!

Spanish Club

Cena Española is a weekly Spanish-language dinner party taking place in restaurants throughout Barcelona.  Every Tuesday from 8:30-11pm, diners of all levels of Spanish fluency come together to enjoy meals while conversing in Spanish.  The group also holds lunch roundtables, movie outings, and cultural events.

Sports Business Club

The Sports Business Club was formed in August 2009, as the first club connecting MBA students with the business side of Sports, an industry which in recent years has undergone a significant process of professionalization. By offering MBA's a closer perspective on the Sports industry- through conferences, corporate presentations, competitions, networking events and other resources and activities- the Sports Business Club aims to motivate creative and enterprising MBA's to grow their careers in the Sports industry, while contributing to the ongoing expansion of this truly global sector.

Technology Club

The Technology Club strives to cultivate a culture of technological expertise at ESADE; connecting both industry specialists and those new to technology to provide opportunities for intellectual and professional growth. The club aims to serve as the hub for all technology industry activities at ESADE; fostering the exchange of industry expertise while providing professional opportunities for members and the ESADE community as a whole.  The club intends to provide a learning environment for ESADE colleagues with all levels of technical knowledge.

X-treme Sports Club

Tired of Cash Flow statements? Thinking about blowing off that next group meeting? Five hours economics bringing you down? Graph your limits instead! Our aim: to provide high-adrenalin fun sports for all tastes and skills.
